It's been a busy week and I've been relying on quick snacks as much as I ever have. Here's one of my favorite go-to combinations:
- one banana
- a couple tablespoons of peanut butter
- chocolate chips
Break the banana into pieces, spoon the peanut butter over the banana, and top everything with chocolate chips. I eat mine with a spoon. My husband dipped the banana in the peanut butter, then in the chocolate chips. However you go about eating it, this is a delicious combination.
- If you have a peanut allergy, go for one of the many other nut or seed butter options that works for you. If dairy is ok, you could even try yogurt instead of peanut butter. (Or ice cream ... )
- While chocolate is certainly my favorite topping, there are innumerable other options ranging from raisins to shredded coconut to colorful sprinkles. What appeals to you?
